There are 105 total medical colleges in Bangladesh offering MBBS in 36 Government Medical Colleges having 4068 seats, 69 Private Medical Colleges having 6336 seats. Thus, “The total number of MBBS seats in Bangladesh is 10404”.

Before taking admission in any medical colleges of Bangladesh you must confirm that medical must approve by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council(BM&DC)World Health Organization(WHO). If you are an Indian student then the college must be approved by the Medical Council of India(MCI), If you are a Nepalese then the college must be approved by Nepal Medical Council(NMC).

Note: After Completing MBBS from Bangladesh you must have to clear a licensing exam to practice in your country FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Exam) for Indian students, NMC Licence Exam for Nepalese.

What is the course duration of MBBS in Bangladesh?

What are the eligibility criteria for admission to the MBBS course?

The MBBS admission eligibility criteria for foreign students follow below:

  1. SSC/10th must-have 5 subjects with 60% Marks.
  2. The passing year of Class 10th must be (2017/2018).
  3. HSC/12th/Intermediate must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  4. Minimum GPA (After equivalency with SSC & HSC)= 7.00(separately minimum 3.5 in each)
  5. Minimum GPA in Biology= 3.5
  6. NEET Qualified for Indian students.
